This directory contains a basic FreeDOS boot disk.
The disk is bootable and contains the basic utilities
FDISK, FORMAT, SYS, and a few other possibly useful ones.

The current disk image is based on FreeDOS Ripcord Beta 8 H02
which contains programs licensed under terms of the
GNU General Public License (GPL), please goto http://www.fdos.org/ripcord/
to obtain the (latest) version of the source code for included programs.
The kernel has been updated to 2029.

FREEDOS.IMG   Rawrite compatible 1.44MB (3.5inch) image file
FREEDOS.EXE   Self extracting 1.44MB (3.5inch) image file (should work under DOS & Win32)

TINY.DSK      Image file of a 5.25inch 160KB floppy with just kernel (2026b),
              FreeCom (0.83 Beta 40 XMS Swap), sys (2.4), and FDXMS (0.9.sand)
              [The original disk tested, so assuming raread read the image
               correctly it should be ok, but I've yet to double check the image.]

The self-extracting image is the same as the .IMG file with
SFX144 (1.44MB disk image extractor v1.1) by Dosius prepended.
